@chad I hope to see you come in and be part of this
Keep killin it @TerryA
If the miles keep getting faster and you feel stronger, try adding in the air-squats like I talk about here:
Hey catch me up. This Tuesday I’m posting a video here for you specifically. I know its hard to push all the info here, I just want to try to use this as a way to stay dialed in randomly. It makes it easy to share stuff. @TerryA
Hey brutha hit me with a summary, all good? @TerryA
@TerryA what are you doing with weights? We hitting that tomorrow?
Yeah I should be good for weights tomorrow, lets do it.
We’ll hammer weights Wed. Nothing over the top just up the intensity a bit. Are you loving something these days? LIke bench, curls etc
I have been curling into shoulder press and dumbbell bench press, those have been feeling real good.
Great to hear. We’ll rock out a great one Wed
Huge workout today, my doctor also put me on Zepbound since I wasn’t losing weight but I was still being a try hard, so lets see if this shit does anything.
Weights are single dumbbell, so its 2x everything - i = isolated, f = failure
I have never heard of that. Did he clear you for cardio, strength training etc? I don’t know much about these drugs other than they can make you shed muscle weight as well as fat. I have heard doctors in this space (Attia for one) say to really increase protein, watch this clip:
This 5 minute breakdown makes a lot of sense. To me anyway
He seems to have warmed up to it in more recent episodes, he just did a sit down with the more plates more dates guy and they talked about using it with other peptides
At the end of that video he mentions terzeipitide, that’s what I’m taking. He says “It’s significantly better than semaglutide” in regards to preserving muscle mass. Semaglutide = ozempic, terzepitide = zepbound. Doctor wasn’t concerned about me working out on it, no side effects so far other than I’m a bit more tired in the day post workout, and my hunger/digestion is way down. Like almost constipated slow moving digestion.
Interested in seeing how that goes, maybe hope it lops off some weight and you can remove it at a certain point? Is it “permanent”?
Yeah I can drop it any time, 1 month cycles, I will say the constipation is real but for me that had diverticulitis and cramps 4 times a day it has just made me regular which was an unexpected bonus.
Good sleep last night, great workout, keeping my protein up, no bullshit eating and appetite has been under control. No complaints here.
